Wedgwood: Artists and Industry
Perc Tucker Regional Gallery

Wedgwood: Artists and Industry is an international exhibition presenting objects from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Wedgwood Collection. Spanning over two centuries of ceramic production, the exhibition traces the relationship between art, design, and industrial manufacturing through the work of artists and designers who collaborated with the Wedgwood factory.

Working in collaboration with architect Dirk Yates (Speculative Architecture), I developed the exhibition’s visual communication and graphic system. My role included the creation of the exhibition branding, graphics and guidelines during the build to ensure a cohesive visual language across the space.

The design approach balanced contemporary graphic treatment with local references to the historical depth of the material, supporting the exhibition’s narrative around Wedgwood’s legacy as a meeting point between artists, designers, and industrial manufacturing.

Dirk Yates led the spatial design of the exhibition through Speculative Architecture, designing the exhibition build, display cases, and overall visitor experience. Working closely between graphic and spatial design allowed the exhibition identity and physical environment to integrate into a unified presentation.
