Estampa is a World Folk Music group comprised of violin, voice, piano accordion, double bass and guitar. The word ‘Estampa’ is a Spanish word derived from the verb ‘Estampar’ (to stamp) and the word estampa also means ‘printed image’, ‘illustration’, ‘appearance’ or ‘demeanour’.

Nimble

"From All Sides" is the first release for “Nimble” a collaboration between bassist David Galea, pIanist Sophie Min and drummer/percussionist Lachlan Hawkins - together with special guest vocalists Elly Hoyt and Kristin Berardi, and percussionist Tsoof Baras they have created a recording that is steeped in the jazz tradition but designed to push the boundaries of modern jazz. The album was the 2019 Queensland Music Award Finalist.
